| The Sierra Foothills AIDS Foundation (SFAF) is a community based, nonprofit organization. Our primary mission is to provide comprehensive support services to people living with HIV or AIDS and their families, and to provide education and prevention services to the general public. SFAF has been serving the Sierra Foothills region, including Nevada, Placer, El Dorado, and Alpine Counties since 1988. SFAF's services are provided by a professional staff as well as a large corps of dedicated volunteers. Services are provided through offices in Grass Valley, Placerville, South Lake Tahoe, and Auburn. All services provided by SFAF are free of charge and are available to all local people living with HIV or AIDS and their families. | |

| The Lambda Community Center opened its doors in August 1986 and has served as a focal point for the GLBT community ever since. It is a symbol of our strength and a rallying point in times of crisis. The Lambda Community Center serves as the corporate headquarters for the Lambda Community Fund and houses the other programs of the Center. We are committed to providing a safe and friendly environment within our diverse community. | |
